How can educational researchers and scholars use our voices to influence local educational policy? Join Dr. Marcella Cardoza McCollum of San Jose State University and other CARE-ED members for an interactive and practical conversation about California school board politics and policies.
During this workshop, we will explore key laws and policies related to school board governance, strategies for successful advocacy and public commentary, and ways educators and scholars can effectively leverage their expertise—and personal experiences—when giving oral and written testimony.
